Guinea-BissauBaio-Negado and BissauMozambiqueMaratane village, NampulaJuntos pelo Reino is the mission project of Igreja Oceano da Graça in Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique. More than 600 children receive meals every week, a well has been drilled, a church has been built, and a school is on the way.

Guinea-The village has no classroom. Children receive a meal on Sunday and spend the entire week without studying. Food sustains the body; education sustains the future.

Guinea-We fund university education for young people from the community. The first student is already training in Education Sciences and will return to teach where he was born.

Guinea-BissauBaio-Negado and BissauThis is where the project began. In rural Baio-Negado, we drilled the well and built the church that now serves as the center of the community. The next step is a school.

Join the communityYou can indicate a preference when you donate. However, our model is designed to sustain the work as a whole. With one shared fund, the Institute directs resources wherever they are most needed that month. Companies interested in funding an entire initiative can contact us directly.
Because food gets a child through the day, while education can change a life. Baio-Negado has no classroom: a child who receives a meal on Sunday spends the rest of the week without studying and reaches age thirteen with the same limited options their parents had.
It is not about choosing one over the other. Instituto Oceano and Igreja Oceano da Graça also support children and vulnerable families in Brazil. Guinea-Bissau and Mozambique became part of this work because they bring together something rare: organized communities, trusted local partners, a shared language, and a cost per meal that allows donations in Brazilian reais to go much further.

Talk to the church officeNo. The project was born within Igreja Oceano da Graça, but families, companies, and people outside the church community are welcome to support it.
Igreja Oceano da Graça and Instituto Oceano are part of the same organization. The church mobilizes and sends the teams. The Institute carries out the work, manages the resources, and is responsible for financial reporting.
